Rik Felderhof in renowned as “The Master of Good Conversation”. He began his career in the Dutch radio program Plein Publiek with the NCRV Radio. Firstly as a reporter and later as presentator.
In 1990 he switched to television with a program called De Stoel (The Chair) which lasted for twelve years. The next program called Villa Felderhof was televised in 1996 and became Rik’s best known program. In 1998 he won the TeleVizier-Ring Award for the best television program for that year. He also won in the same year the Bewondering, (Admiration), an award for the most well known and outstanding television personality.
Bezoekuur (Visiting Hour), Felderhof Ontmoet (Felderhof Meets), Op Reis Met Felderhof (Travelling with Felderhof), Felderhof Kilimanjaro and Felderhof Villa Versa are successful programs that attract many viewers. His special friendship with His Royal Highness Prince Bernhard transpired in the program Prince Bernhard and Rik Felderhof on Safari. In 2002 he was made Officer in the Order of Oranje Nassau. Since 1998 Rik remains co-director of D&D Productions.
